Who We Are

Supporting Students with Disabilities Across Tennessee

The Tennessee Technical Assistance Network (TN-TAN) provides school districts, administrators, educators, and families access to high-quality training, resources, and supports designed to improve outcomes for students with disabilities, ages 3–22.

TN-TAN events are open to school district staff, administrators, educators, related service providers, and families across Tennessee who support students with disabilities ages 3–22. Some events may have specific audience requirements noted in the event description.

Use the register button found on the homepage to create an account. You may also receive an invitation link from a TN-TAN coordinator. If you need access and haven't received an invitation, contact us at TN-TAN@utk.edu.

Once you are signed in, browse the Events list and click on any open event. On the event detail page, click Register. You will receive a confirmation email with event details and any virtual meeting links.

Yes. Go to My Events in your account and select Withdraw next to the event. We appreciate you cancelling as early as possible so your spot can be offered to others on the waitlist.

Yes. Registered participants automatically receive an email reminder 3 days before the event and again 1 hour before it starts. Make sure the email address on your account is current so you don't miss these notifications.

Credit hours are listed on each event. After attending, you will receive a follow-up survey. Once completed, your credit is recorded in your participant profile. Contact your district HR office for guidance on submitting continuing education hours to TDOE.

TN-TAN offers in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. Each event listing clearly indicates its format. Virtual events include an online meeting link in your confirmation and reminder emails.

On the sign-in page, click Forgot your password? and follow the prompts to reset via email.
